The Brighten To command results in a brightness adjustment of a lamp module so that the resulting brightness is the level specified. For standard, one-way lamp modules, this means changing to fully dim first and then brightening to the desired level. When using an ActiveHome (CM-11) with a two-way lamp module, the lamp will change directly to the desired level without going to fully bright first. The Brighten To command is ignored by appliance modules and Socket Rockets.
